The business was valued at $3.6 billion after a financing round.

Over the last year, demand among Source’s component firms has risen fourfold, spurred by an expanding requirement for AI platforms to retrieve and analyze publicly accessible web data.

This debut mirrors the growing market for data-infrastructure as companies shift from simple AI chatbots to autonomous agents that can browse information, track market movements, and perform increasingly sophisticated functions.

The firms under Source supply utilities for gathering and retrieving public web content, enabling uses that span financial market analytics, cybersecurity, online fraud detection, and AI-driven research.

Vytautas Savickas, the chief executive of Source, noted that dependable web-data access is gaining importance as enterprises roll out more advanced AI solutions.

“The modern world runs on data, and autonomous agents are now speeding up innovation across every sector,” Vytautas Savickas said. “For these systems to work, responsible access to public web data is no longer just a technical tool. It is the core infrastructure for the next wave of progress.”

Source counts roughly 800 staff members spread across Europe, the United States and Asia, with over 350 of them serving as developers or engineers. Collectively, the group has filed in excess of 180 patents and secured 215 trademark registrations.

Vytautas Savickas stated that the refreshed organization would create a more robust investment platform and grant the firms a collective voice in debates over public web-data access. “Source gives a clear identity to an ecosystem that has grown well beyond a single company story,” Vytautas Savickas said.
