Addiko Bank operations unaffected by Alta banka license revocation

Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd operates without disruption and holds no exposure to Alta banka, according to a recent statement from the institution. The bank reports a capital adequacy ratio of 23.47 percent and a liquidity coverage of 282 percent, figures that exceed regulatory requirements. All products and services, including deposits, loans, and digital banking, function normally for clients. Addiko Bank a.d. Beograd is listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange and is supervised by the European Central Bank, operating under its own license and fully focused on client continuity.
The decision by the National Bank of Serbia to revoke Alta banka’s license affects only that entity and does not impact Addiko Bank. The Serbian branch operates under its own license and is supervised by the central bank. Clients retain full access to their funds and the bank’s complete range of services without interruption. This means that all services, payment traffic, credits, deposits, cards, electronic and mobile banking, branches and contact center, function regularly, ensuring the safety of client assets despite current events on the domestic financial market.
Despite current volatility in the domestic financial sector, the parent company in Vienna continues to support the local operation. Addiko Bank AG is in the process of being acquired by Raiffeisen Bank International AG. The transaction proceeds according to plan and is subject only to obtaining necessary regulatory approvals.
Herbert Juranek, the chief executive officer of Addiko Bank AG, emphasized that the takeover process will continue normally. He stated that Raiffeisen Bank International AG intends to retain ownership of all members of the Addiko Group, including the Serbian branch, once the deal closes. Srđan Kondić, the head of the executive board in Belgrade, confirmed that the bank remains fully focused on clients and the continuity of its operations, noting that the Serbian branch is a vital part of the Addiko Group with full support from the parent bank.
